Motor Vehicle Miles Traveled in Nebraska

The graph shows monthly travel in 2009, the previous year, ten years prior, and twenty years prior.  Using the table beneath the graph, total travel in 2009 increased 1.5 percent from 2008 but was still lower than 2007 and 2006.  Total travel in 2009 increased 9.0 percent from ten years prior (1999) and increased 38.9 percent from twenty years prior (1989).  Travel increased 27.5 percent from 1989 to 1999.
