Motor Vehicle Miles Traveled in Nebraska

Travel on all roads and streets in Nebraska in December 2011 increased 2.6 percent, or 39 million miles, compared to the same month a year ago.  The graph shows monthly travel this year, a year ago, ten years ago, and twenty years ago.  Using the table beneath the graph, the numbers show that December travel in 2011 increased 10.6 percent from ten years ago (2001) and 41.3 percent from twenty years ago (1991).  December travel increased 27.7 percent from 1991 to 2001.
