Ethanol and Unleaded Gasoline Average Rack Prices

As of January 2009, the rack price of ethanol was $1.67 versus $1.26 for unleaded gasoline--a difference of 41 cents per gallon.  The ethanol rack price was six cents higher compared to last month's price but 62 cents lower than a year ago.  After three consecutive months of huge drops in price, unleaded gasoline's average rack price increased 19 cents from last month's price which was $1.17 lower than a year ago.
