Ethanol and Unleaded Gasoline Average Rack Prices

As of July 2008, the rack price of ethanol was $2.90 versus $3.30 for unleaded gasoline--a difference of 40 cents per gallon.  The ethanol rack price was 18 cents higher compared to last month's price and 39 cents higher than a year ago.  Unleaded gasoline's average rack price was seven cents lower than last month's price but 81 cents higher than a year ago.
