States Shipping Coal to Nebraska in 2009

Preliminary numbers for 2009 show that 99 percent of the coal transported to Nebraska for electricity generation and industrial plants came from Wyoming.  The majority of the coal supply for the state was imported domestically by railroad.  A small amount (304 thousand short tons) was brought to Nebraska by truck from Wyoming.  All of the coal was subbituminous.
