Numbers for 2010 show that 99 percent of the coal transported to Nebraska for electricity generation and industrial plants came from Wyoming. The majority of the coal supply for the state was imported domestically by railroad. A small amount (13 thousand short tons) was brought to Nebraska by truck from Wyoming. All of the coal was subbituminous.
