Residential
In 2010, the number of residential consumers decreased by 1,775 consumers to 510,776;
average annual consumption per consumer increased one thousand cubic feet to 79 thousand cubic
feet; and the average annual residential natural gas bill decreased $22 to $707. The average
annual residential natural gas bill set a new record of $922 in 2008 topping the previous records
of $870 in 2007 and $854 in 2001.
Commercial
The number of commercial consumers in 2010 decreased by 208 consumers to 56,246.
The average annual consumption per commercial consumer increased barely 2 percent to 572 thousand cubic
feet, and the average annual commercial natural gas bill decreased 3.5 percent to $4,044.
