As of the first quarter of 2014, Nebraska has the installed capacity of 534 megawatts of wind energy, which is less than one percent (0.9%) of the nation's installed capacity of 61,327 megawatts.; Texas has the largest installed capacity (12,354 megawatts which is 20 percent of the nation's total), and Delaware has the smallest installed capacity (2 megawatts).
