Nebraska has the eighteenth largest installed capacity of wind in the country, based on the latest figures. At the end of 2014, Nebraska has the installed capacity of 812 megawatts of wind energy, which is 1.23 percent of the nation's installed capacity of 65,879 megawatts. Texas has the largest installed capacity (14,098 megawatts which is 21.4 percent of the nation's total), and Delaware has the smallest installed capacity (2 megawatts). Thirty–nine states and one territory have utility–scale wind facilities.
