installed capacity of wind in the country, based on the latest figures. As of the fourth
quarter of 2011, Nebraska has the installed capacity of 337 megawatts of wind energy, which is
less than one percent of the nation's installed capacity of 46,919 megawatts. Texas has
the largest installed capacity (10,377 megawatts which is 22 percent of the nation's total),
and Delaware and Rhode Island have the smallest installed capacity (2 megawatts).
