Refineries in the nation are operating at 83% capacity. Gasoline: Midwest production is
1,970 thousand barrels per day--a decrease of 5.6% from last
week. Diesel:
Midwest production is 748 thousand barrels per day--an increase of 15% from last week. Heating Oil: Midwest production is 163 thousand barrels per
day--a decrease of 31% from last week. Propane: Midwest production is 210
thousand barrels per day--a decrease of 2.3% from last week. |

Gasoline: Midwest inventory (or PADD II) is 54.1 million barrels--2% less than last week's inventory level and 5.3% less than last month's level with inventory levels at the upper boundary of the normal range. The Energy Information Administration maintains a benchmark for national stocks at 200 million barrels. As of March 3, the national stock level is 224.8 million barrels. Diesel: Midwest inventory (or PADD II) is 25.3 million barrels--6.8% more than last week's inventory level and 3.3% more than last month's level with distillate inventory levels at the upper boundary of the normal range. Heating Oil: Midwest inventory (or PADD II) is 6.2 million barrels--8.8% less than last week's inventory level and 3.1% less than last month's level with distillate inventory levels at the upper boundary of the normal range. Propane: Midwest inventory (or PADD II) is 12.1 million barrels--4.7% less than last week's inventory level and 16% less than last month's level with inventory levels above the normal range. As of March 3, the national inventory level is 36.3 million barrels. Natural Gas: The East Region's inventory, of which Nebraska is a part, is 1,001 billion cubic feet--7.1% less than last week but 357 billion cubic feet above the 5-year average. For the week ending March 3, the national inventory level is 1,887 billion cubic feet. |
