Refineries in the nation are operating at 88.9% capacity. Gasoline: Midwest production is
2,214 thousand barrels per day--an increase of 0.8% (or 17,000 barrels per day) from last
week. Diesel:
Midwest production is 787 thousand barrels per day--an increase of 9.3% from last week. Heating Oil: Midwest production is 195 thousand barrels per
day--a decrease of 2.5% from last week. Propane: Midwest production is 225
thousand barrels per day--an increase of 4.7% from last week. |

Gasoline: Midwest inventory (or PADD II) is 52.9 million barrels--0.2% (or 100,000 barrels) more than last week's inventory level but 0.8% (or 400,000 barrels) more than last month's level with inventory levels above the normal range. The Energy Information Administration maintains a benchmark for national stocks at 200 million barrels. As of December 23, the national stock level is 202.9 million barrels. Diesel: Midwest inventory (or PADD II) is 19 million barrels--1% less than last week's inventory level but 0.5% (or100,000 barrels) more than last month's level with distillate inventory levels below the normal range. Heating Oil: Midwest inventory (or PADD II) is 6.8 million barrels--no change from last week's inventory level but 4.6% more than last month's level with distillate inventory levels below the normal range. Propane: Midwest inventory (or PADD II) is 19 million barrels--6.9% less than last week's inventory level and 19% less than last month's level with inventory levels at the bottom boundary of the normal range. As of December 23, the national inventory level is 61.4 million barrels. Natural Gas: The East Region's inventory, of which Nebraska is a part, is 1,539 billion cubic feet--6.4% less than last week but 1 billion cubic feet above the 5-year average. For the week ending December 23, the national inventory level is 2,640 billion cubic feet. |
