Refineries in the nation are operating at 93.7% capacity. Gasoline: Midwest production is
1,954 thousand barrels per day--an increase of 4.9% from last
week. Diesel:
Midwest production is 640 thousand barrels per day--an increase of 2.4% from last week. Heating Oil: Midwest production is 230 thousand barrels per
day--an increase of 28% from last week. Propane: Midwest production is 200
thousand barrels per day--a decrease of 1% from last week. |

Gasoline: Midwest inventory (or PADD II) is 53.2 million barrels--1.1% less than last week's inventory level and 5% less than last month's level with inventory levels above the normal range. The Energy Information Administration maintains a benchmark for national stocks at 200 million barrels. As of April 1, the national stock level is 212.3 million barrels. Diesel: Midwest inventory (or PADD II) is 20.7 million barrels--1% less than last week's inventory level and 1.9% less than last month's level with distillate inventory levels at the lower boundary of the normal range. Heating Oil: Midwest inventory (or PADD II) is 6.5 million barrels--no change from last week's inventory level but 7.1% less than last month's level with distillate inventory levels at the lower boundary of the normal range. Propane: Midwest inventory (or PADD II) is 9 million barrels--1.1% less than last week's inventory level but no change from last month's level with inventory levels in the normal range. As of April 1, the national inventory level is 26.8 million barrels. Natural Gas: The East Region's inventory, of which Nebraska is a part, is 546 billion cubic feet--0.4% (or 2 billion cubic feet) less than last week but 54 billion cubic feet above the 5-year average. For the week ending April 1, the national inventory level is 1,249 billion cubic feet. |
