Refineries in the nation are operating at 89.5% capacity. Gasoline: Midwest production is
1,901 thousand barrels per day--a decrease of 1.5% from last
week. Diesel:
Midwest production is 672 thousand barrels per day--an increase of 6.8% from last week. Heating Oil: Midwest production is 214 thousand barrels per
day--an increase of 43% from last week. Propane: Midwest production is 204
thousand barrels per day--a decrease of 10.9% from last week. |

Gasoline: Midwest inventory (or PADD II) is 56.9 million barrels--2.3% more than last week's inventory level and 2.5% more than last month's level with inventory levels above the normal range. The Energy Information Administration maintains a benchmark for national stocks at 200 million barrels. As of March 4, the national stock level is 224.3 million barrels. Diesel: Midwest inventory (or PADD II) is 22.4 million barrels--0.4% (or 100,000 barrels) less than last week's inventory level and 2.2% less than last month's level with distillate inventory levels continuing to skirt along the lower edge of the normal range. Heating Oil: Midwest inventory (or PADD II) is 7.2 million barrels--no change from last week's inventory level and no change from last month's level with distillate inventory levels continuing to skirt along the lower edge of the normal range. Propane: Midwest inventory (or PADD II) is 10.3 million barrels--1% less than last week's inventory level and 16.3% less than last month's level with inventory levels in the normal range. As of March 4, the national inventory level is 32.5 million barrels. Natural Gas: The East Region's inventory, of which Nebraska is a part, is 737 billion cubic feet--12.1% less than last week but 114 billion cubic feet above the 5-year average. For the week ending March 4, the national inventory level is 1,474 billion cubic feet. |
