Refineries in the nation are operating at 89.3% capacity. Gasoline: Midwest production is
1,930 thousand barrels per day--a decrease of 4.1% from last
week. Diesel:
Midwest production is 629 thousand barrels per day--no change from last week. Heating Oil: Midwest production is 150 thousand barrels per
day--a decrease of 18.9% from last week. Propane: Midwest production is 229
thousand barrels per day--a decrease of 9.5% from last week. |

Gasoline: Midwest inventory (or PADD II) is 55.6 million barrels--0.5% (or 300,000 barrels) less than last week's inventory level but no change from last month's level with inventory levels in the upper boundary of the normal range. The Energy Information Administration maintains a benchmark for national stocks at 200 million barrels. As of February 25, the national stock level is 224.5 million barrels. Diesel: Midwest inventory (or PADD II) is 22.5 million barrels--1.8% less than last week's inventory level and 5.1% less than last month's level with distillate inventory levels skirting along the lower edge of the normal range. Heating Oil: Midwest inventory (or PADD II) is 7.2 million barrels--1.4% less than last week's inventory level but 1.4% more than last month's level with distillate inventory levels skirting along the lower edge of the normal range. Propane: Midwest inventory (or PADD II) is 10.4 million barrels--8.8% less than last week's inventory level and 19.4% less than last month's level with inventory levels in the normal range. As of February 25, the national inventory level is 31.6 million barrels. Natural Gas: The East Region's inventory, of which Nebraska is a part, is 838 billion cubic feet--9% less than last week but 164 billion cubic feet above the 5-year average. For the week ending February 25, the national inventory level is 1,613 billion cubic feet. |
