Refineries in the nation are operating at 91% capacity. Gasoline: Midwest production is
2,026 thousand barrels per day--a decrease of 1.8% from last
week. Diesel:
Midwest production is 712 thousand barrels per day--a decrease of 2.6%
from last week. Heating Oil: Midwest production is 198 thousand barrels per
day--a decrease of 3.9% from last week. Propane: Midwest production is 219
thousand barrels per day--a decrease of 0.9% (or 2,000 barrels per day) from last week. |

Gasoline: Midwest inventory (or PADD II) is 54.1 million barrels--0.9% (or 500,000 barrels) less than last week's inventory level but 3.2% more than last month's level with inventory levels at the upper boundary of the normal range. The Energy Information Administration maintains a benchmark for national stocks at 200 million barrels. As of January 21, the national stock level is 214.7 million barrels. Diesel: Midwest inventory (or PADD II) is 23.7 million barrels--3% more than last week's inventory level and 9.7% more than last month's level with distillate inventory levels in the normal range. Heating Oil: Midwest inventory (or PADD II) is 7.3 million barrels--1.4% less than last week's inventory level but 2.8% more than last month's level with distillate inventory levels in the normal range. Propane: Midwest inventory (or PADD II) is 15.2 million barrels--7.3% less than last week's inventory level and 18.3% less than last month's level with inventory levels in the normal range. As of January 21, the national inventory level is 45 million barrels. Natural Gas: The East Region's inventory, of which Nebraska is a part, is 1,290 billion cubic feet--10% less than last week but 145 billion cubic feet above the 5-year average. As of January 21, the national inventory level is 2,270 billion cubic feet. |
