Gasoline:  Midwest production is 2,000 thousand barrels per day--a decrease of 4.9% from last week.

Diesel:  Midwest production is 811 thousand barrels per day--an increase of 2.5% from last week.

Supply
As of January 7, 2005

Gasoline:  Midwest inventory (or PADD II) is 52.8 million barrels--0.8% (or 400,000 barrels) more than last week's inventory level and 2.7% more than last month's level with inventory levels above the normal range.  The Energy Information Administration maintains a benchmark for national stocks at 200 million barrels.  As of January 7, the national stock level is 215.3 million barrels.

Diesel:  Midwest inventory (or PADD II) is 22.6 million barrels--4.6% more than last week's inventory level and 11.3% more than last month's level with distillate inventory levels at the bottom of the normal range.

Heating Oil:  Midwest inventory (or PADD II) is 7 million barrels--1.4% less than last week's inventory level but 6.1% more than last month's level with distillate inventory levels at the bottom of the normal range.

Propane:  Midwest inventory (or PADD II) is 17.5 million barrels--5.9% less than last week's inventory level and 13.4% less than last month's level with inventory levels in the normal range.  As of January 7, the national inventory level is 52.4 million barrels.

Natural Gas:  The East Region's inventory, of which Nebraska is a part, is 1,494 billion cubic feet--2.7% less than last week but 147 billion cubic feet above the 5-year average.  As of January 7, the national inventory level is 2,610 billion cubic feet.
