Refineries in the nation are operating at 94.8% capacity. Gasoline: Midwest production is 2,103 thousand barrels per day--a decrease of 3.8% from last week. Diesel: Midwest production is 791 thousand barrels per day--an increase of 8.1% from last week. Heating Oil: Midwest production is 199 thousand barrels per day--a decrease of 1.5% from last week. Propane: Midwest production is 211 thousand barrels per day--a decrease of 7.5% from last week. |

Gasoline: Midwest inventory (or PADD II) is 52.4 million barrels--3% more than last week's inventory level and 4.8% more than last month's level with inventory levels above the normal range. The Energy Information Administration maintains a benchmark for national stocks at 200 million barrels. As of December 31, the national stock level is 214.3 million barrels. Diesel: Midwest inventory (or PADD II) is 21.6 million barrels--2.9% more than last week's inventory level and 7.5% more than last month's level with distillate inventory levels below the normal range. Heating Oil: Midwest inventory (or PADD II) is 7.1 million barrels--6% more than last week's inventory level and 10.9% more than last month's level with distillate inventory levels below the normal range. Propane: Midwest inventory (or PADD II) is 18.6 million barrels--1.6% less than last week's inventory level and 10.1% less than last month's level with inventory levels in the normal range. As of December 31, the national inventory level is 55.4 million barrels. Natural Gas: The East Region's inventory, of which Nebraska is a part, is 1,536 billion cubic feet--6.1% less than last week but 111 billion cubic feet above the 5-year average. As of December 31, the national inventory level is 2,698 billion cubic feet. |
