Refineries in the nation are operating at 94.2% capacity. Gasoline: Midwest production is 2,185 thousand barrels per day--an increase of 4.4% from last week. Diesel: Midwest production is 732 thousand barrels per day--an increase of 3.7% from last week. Heating Oil: Midwest production is 202 thousand barrels per day--a decrease of 9.8% from last week. Propane: Midwest production is 228 thousand barrels per day--a decrease of 3% from last week. |

Gasoline: Midwest inventory (or PADD II) is 50.9 million barrels--1% less than last week's inventory level but 0.8% (or 400,000 barrels) more than last month's level with inventory levels in the upper boundary of the normal range. The Energy Information Administration maintains a benchmark for national stocks at 200 million barrels. As of December 24, the national stock level is 212.3 million barrels. Diesel: Midwest inventory (or PADD II) is 21 million barrels--3.5% more than last week's inventory level and 11% more than last month's level with distillate inventory levels below the normal range. Heating Oil: Midwest inventory (or PADD II) is 6.7 million barrels--1.5% more than last week's inventory level but 2.9% less than last month's level with distillate inventory levels below the normal range. Propane: Midwest inventory (or PADD II) is 18.9 million barrels--6.4% less than last week's inventory level and 10.9% less than last month's level with inventory levels in the normal range. As of December 24, the national inventory level is 56.7 million barrels. Natural Gas: The East Region's inventory, of which Nebraska is a part, is 1,635 billion cubic feet--6.5% less than last week but 160 billion cubic feet above the 5-year average. As of December 24, the national inventory level is 2,849 billion cubic feet. |
