Refineries in the nation are operating at 89.1% capacity. Gasoline: Midwest production is 2,084 thousand barrels per day--an increase of 2.6% from last week. Diesel: Midwest production is 681 thousand barrels per day--an increase of 10.9% from last week. Heating Oil: Midwest production is 142 thousand barrels per day--a decrease of 17.9% from last week. Propane: Midwest production is 234 thousand barrels per day--an increase of 3.1% from last week. |

Gasoline: Midwest inventory (or PADD II) is 55.4 million barrels--0.2% (or 100,000 barrels) lower than last week's inventory but 1.1% higher than last month's level with inventory levels in the normal range. The Energy Information Administration maintains a benchmark for national stocks at 200 million barrels. As of March 5, the national stock level is 200.4 million barrels. Diesel: Midwest inventory (or PADD II) is 21.3 million barrels--3.6% lower than last week's inventory and 3.2% lower than last month's level with distillate inventory levels below the normal range. Heating Oil: Midwest inventory (or PADD II) is 7 million barrels--1.5% higher than last week's inventory level and 4.5% higher than last month's level with distillate inventory levels below the normal range. Propane: Midwest inventory (or PADD II) is 9.7 million barrels--3% lower than last week with inventory levels in the normal range. As of March 5, the national inventory level is 26.7 million barrels. Natural Gas: The East Region's inventory, of which Nebraska is a part, is 619 billion cubic feet--1.8% less than last week and 29 billion cubic feet or 4.5% below the 5-year average. As of March 5, the national inventory level is 1,143 billion cubic feet. |
