Motor Gasoline and Ethanol-Blended Fuel
Consumption in Nebraska


Total consumption of motor gasoline and ethanol-blended fuel in December 2007 was 66,301,764 gallons, which was 3.5 percent lower than December 2006.  As shown in the graph below, consumption has changed very little over the last six years.  The driving season is traditionally the months between the Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends each year, so the months of June, July, and August usually have higher demand for these transportation fuels.
