Motor Gasoline and Ethanol-Blended Fuel
Consumption in Nebraska

Total consumption of motor gasoline and ethanol-blended fuel in August 2011 was 75,337,483 gallons, which was 1 percent less than a year ago.  As shown in the graph below, consumption has changed very little over the last decade.  The driving season is traditionally the months between the Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends each year, so the months of June, July, and August usually have higher demand for these transportation fuels.
