Motor Gasoline and Ethanol-Blended Fuel
Consumption in Nebraska

Total consumption of motor gasoline and ethanol–blended fuel in the month of February 2014 was 65,072,874 gallons, which was 10 percent more than a year ago but 4 percent less than a month ago. As shown in the graph and data table below, consumption has changed very little over the last decade. The driving season is traditionally the months between the Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends each year, so the months of June, July, and August usually have higher demand for these transportation fuels.
