Nebraska Gasoline and Diesel Prices


This week, Nebraska's average gasoline price fell 4 cents per gallon from last week to $2.20, which is 26 cents higher than the price at this time last year.  Weekly average prices in the surveyed cities ranged from $2.11 in Norfolk to $2.26 in Omaha.  As of November 11, the Midwest gasoline stock level was in the normal range with 50.4 million barrels.

Nebraska's average diesel price decreased 14 cents per gallon from last week to $2.61.  According to the weekly price report, this week's state average was 51 cents higher than the price at this time last year.  Weekly averages in the surveyed cities ranged from $2.45 in North Platte to $2.64 in Lincoln.  On the supply side, the Midwest distillate fuel inventory level had fallen farther below the normal range with 18.4 million barrels of diesel fuel as of November 11.

Regular unleaded gasoline is regular unleaded motor gasoline with an 87 to 88 octane.  Diesel fuel is fuel used for internal combustion in diesel engines.
