Nebraska Gasoline and Diesel Prices


Nebraska's weekly average gasoline price fell 18 cents per gallon from last week to $2.52, which was 54 cents higher than the price at this time last year.  Weekly average prices in the surveyed cities ranged from $2.42 in Omaha to $2.64 in North Platte.  As of October 14, the Midwest gasoline stock level was in the normal range with 51 million barrels.

Nebraska's average diesel price rose 10 cents per gallon from last week reaching $3.25.  According to the weekly price report, this week's state average was $1.16 higher than the price at this time last year.  Weekly averages in the surveyed cities ranged from $3.22 in Norfolk to $3.30 in Kearney.  Prices set new record highs each day.  On the supply side, the Midwest distillate fuel inventory level was below the normal range with 18.7 million barrels of diesel fuel as of October 14.
