Natural Gas Service Providers and
Their Consumers in Nebraska


In 2007, the state had 557,437 natural gas consumers supplied by 23 companies.  Seven of the companies were investor-owned, and 16 companies were consumer-owned.  Nearly 60 percent of Nebraska's customers were supplied by investor-owned companies, and 40 percent were supplied by consumer-owned companies.
