STATE ENERGY PROGRAM IN NEBRASKA
PROGRAM ACTIVITIES |
|
|
|
Nebraska’s federal SEP funds, combined with the required annual match of state funds, support a wide array of activities, which include:
- administration, program planning, project and financial management, monitoring, compliance and reporting;
-
energy assurance planning, which includes emergency preparedness and energy shortage management;
- public information activities, such as the agency’s:
- financing energy efficiency improvements
- residential energy efficiency, which includes supporting the Nebraska Green Building Program and training on the new Nebraska Energy Code; and
- administration and management of SEP Special Projects in Nebraska.
