STATE ENERGY PROGRAM IN NEBRASKA GEOTHERMAL HEAT PUMP TRAINING PROGRAM |

This project provided training, in partnership with Lincoln Electric System, Nebraska Public Power District and Omaha Public Power District, to increase the application of geothermal heap pumps in school buildings. In cooperation with the Nebraska Well Drillers Association, 67 participants were trained by staff from the International Ground Source Heat Pump Association. An additional 67 engineers and architects participated in a “Geothermal Heat Pump System Design Seminar” conducted by the Director of Energy Information Services. More than 80 individuals participated in a geothermal energy field day. Another 19 individuals participated in a “GeoExchange — Bringing Efficiency to State, County and Municipal Buildings” teleconference. |
