Follow Energy Ant and learn about energy sources, how we use energy in the United States, fun facts, an energy quiz, online resources and much, much more at www.eia.doe.gov/kids  Energy Ant was created in May 1975 by the Federal Energy Administration, the forerunner to the Department of Energy. Back then, Energy Ant told kids about energy and how to use it wisely. Today, he guides users through the Energy Information Administrationís Kidís pages.

Energy Education Resources
A newly published guide, Energy Education Resources: Kindergarten Through 12th Grade, is now available at
www.eia.doe.gov/bookshelf/eer/kiddietoc.html  The Resource Guide provides a listing of numerous organizations that provide free or low-cost energy education materials.
