Wind Tour Starts August 25th…![]() Public Forums on Wind Energy Join the American Wind Energy Association for refreshments and an open forum discussion on the future of wind energy development in Nebraska August 25 – 27, 2009.
The Current Status of Wind Development The tour consists of four open forum presentations taking place in Scottsbluff, Broken Bow, Columbus, and Omaha. Topics of the presentation will include: economic development, the 20 percent Wind Energy by 2030 vision, Nebraska and a national Renewable Electricity Standard, current wind farms in the state, manufacturing and construction opportunities, education avenues and more.
