One of the newest additions to the agency's web site is a list of hundreds of conversion and equivalency factors.

For example, many energy units are expressed in British thermal units, or Btus, but some people may not find that understandable. The new listings provide 17 ways British thermal units can be converted to other units of measurement such as kilowatthours, watts, ergs and foot-pounds per second.
