Nebraska Energy Code Training Workshop

This no-cost training is being offered as part of the Nebraska Energy Office’s on-going commitment to provide energy building code compliance trainings to members of Nebraska’s construction and design industry.

As energy codes continue to improve, the option paths approved for verifying code compliance that were once commonplace continue to change. However, not all ß405 (Simulated Performance Path Alternative) submittals can sustain the rigor of a building department plan review.

This Building Industry Training is designed particularly for Code Enforcement Officials, Homebuilders, and Home-Performance Contractors to support implementation of advanced Energy Codes.

While commonly considered “beyond code” by most, Home Energy Rating System tools, providers, raters, and EPA ENERGY STAR® programs do not always meet the expectations of an IECC permit, plans, and inspection process. Let us show you how we know.
