Great Plains Energy Codes Conference

The Nebraska Energy Office and its partners invite you to the 2012 Great Plains Energy Codes Conference, October 16-18, at the Marriott in Regency Plaza, Omaha, Nebraska.  The conference will present practical how-to content, best practices and thought-provoking ideas — all with a focus on how states and local code jurisdictions can achieve compliance with the 2009 and 2012 International Energy Conservation Codes.

Online registration accepted through Friday, October 12th. See registration fees and deadlines below. After October 12th, call 402-471-2867.

For more than ten years, the Nebraska Energy Office has provided information, training and enforcement expertise on building energy codes to local officials, builders, designers and consumers.

The Energy Office also advises state leaders on energy policy issues and manages several programs including: disbursement of federal Department of Energy grants and funds; and partnering with lending institutions to provide low-interest loans for energy upgrades and improvements to homes, buildings and transportation infrastructure.

The Nebraska Energy Office was created in 1977 to promote the efficient, economic and environmentally responsible use of energy in Nebraska. In 2008, the Energy Office became a stand-alone agency within state government with the Director serving as a member of the Governor’s Cabinet.
